Sunday Brunch at Vegas Diner

Will and I went out for breakfast one Sunday morning at the diner where we had our first official date. 

Vegas Diner has typical diner decor and is very spacious. We were greeted by our waitress and started off with ice coffees and there was a complimentary fruit cup too.

It didn't take long for our dishes to arrive.

Lumberjack Griddle Cakes

Will ordered the Lumberjack Griddle Cakes ($11.95) which came with pancakes, ham, bacon, sausage, and one egg. Will had his egg scrambled, but it sure didn't look scrambled nor appealing. The pancakes were fluffy and delicious.

Mushroom Omelette with White Toast

I love omelettes - so simple and truly filling! I had the Mushroom Omelette ($8.45) with American cheese inside, home fries, and white toast on the side. I really liked the mushroom omelette, but unfortunately I couldn't finish all of it because it was very filling. The home fries were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy and seasoned well. 

I enjoyed our brunch here. Will and I don't go out for breakfast much, but maybe we should. The service here is fair and even though Vegas Diner may not be my favorite or the best diner I've been to, it holds a special spot in my heart
