Happy Belated Labor Day everyone! Will and I just returned from Ocean City, Maryland on Monday and now it's time to catch up on the blog and the rest of life.
Moving along, I'd like to write about a restaurant we tried out with Will's family for dinner at Niagara Falls. We ended up at The Famous because we didn't know exactly what or where to eat, but ended up stumbling upon The Famous.
The atmosphere and decor is similar to the diners in New York and such, but not as big since it is located in the same area as the casino. The staff and our waitress were extremely attentive and pleasant. Our waitress was very on point when it came to refilling drinks, bringing us extra napkins when we needed it and etc.
Moving along, here's what I had and tried -
Everyone at the table ordered the chicken noodle soup, but me (I'm not a huge fan of drinking soups at restaurants). The chicken noodle soup didn't look too appealing and was rather salty. However, I did like that it was accompanied with a piece of toast.
If you don't know already know, I am a huge fan of fried/crispy calamari so I just had to order this. Unfortunately, the calamari was mediocre and not as crispy as I had hoped. It tasted really plain and under seasoned.
Will ordered the buffalo chicken burger and he thought it was actually decent. It was really crispy, crunchy, and super filling!
I decided to order something different from your typical burger so I ordered the turkey burger with mushrooms and plus it sounded really good. I really and truly enjoyed the turkey burger because it was seasoned just perfectly and super filling. The fries were also perfection!

Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their food very much, I know I did for the most part. I am glad The Famous didn't quite disappoint us. The only disappointments were the crispy calamari and chicken noodle soup. Next time, we are in Niagara Falls - I wouldn't mind returning back to The Famous to give their other menu items a shot.
